Far and away one of the best monographs on designers we have seen. Excellent photos, well-researched, nicely-designed review of the work of British Designers Robin and Lucienne Day. Lucienne pioneered the use of modern abstract pattern design in textiles. Robin Day's influential furniture designs introduced materials such as plywood, steel and plastic into the vocabulary of modern design. Extraordinary monograph. The Days are often compared to the Eames, but their work is fresh, smart, inspiring and profoundly original. Love it!
