First edition set of this rare, how-to, modern furniture making books. Volume one, Practical Construction Methods, covers step-by-step all phases of furniture construction. Volume two, Designs and Assembly, describes the design and assembly of over 55 pieces of furniture, ranging from end tables to elaborate drop front cabinets. Later editions consolidated both volumes and are smaller with fewer clear details. This is the one to collect.

Books are overall clean and tight. Volume 2 shows heavier wear and use. This set does not have dust jackets.
