Very hard to find and desirable reference for California design and crafts during the sixties craft revival era. A great help in identifying designers and their work. From the Pasadena Art Museum exhibition, a triannual, highly selective, juried showing how articles for domestic use, design and/or manufactured in California within the previous three years. The exhibition includes the entire spectrum of production, from handcrafted, one-of-a-kind works of art, to designs made to meet the discipline of mass production. Approximately one half of the exhibition is comprised of manufactured articles, either limited manufacture, mass-produced, or prototype for manufacture. The other half is one-of-a-kind objects conceived and executed by the state's finest craftsman. An effort was made to have the exhibition be representative of the best production in each field.
