The Sydney Opera House has been proceeding for a year with a new team of Australian architects. !t may no longer be called an Opera House but an "Arts Centre," because the Government decided to change the main hall from multi-purpose to concert hall only. While the Sydney problem might appear to have been a conflict between an "idealist architect" and a
"practical client," the heart of the problem would seem to be the lack of a clearly defined program at the start.
