An early cookbook by Ida Bailey Allen with recipes and menus for everything from light supper for two to a large club dinner for fifty or more. Last 28 pages or so are full-page advertisements for contemporary foods including Virginia Dare, Maxwell House and Horlick's. A few black and white illustrations plus a large black and white photo of Ida Bailey Allen on frontispiece.
